General Questions
To cancel a reservation, follow the link that appears in your room reservation confirmation email, or call staff at the library your reservation was made for.
You can find your booking details in your confirmation email. You can also contact library staff for assistance.
Generally speaking, Omaha Public Library’s meeting rooms are not available for private social gatherings, for money-raising, commercial purposes, or for the benefit of private individuals or commercial concerns.
Reservations may be made no more than 90 days in advance of the meeting. A meeting room reservation request, opens a new window must be completed by the group requesting use of a meeting room at least 72 hours in advance of the meeting room use.
The following locations have study rooms available for use:
- Benson Branch
- Charles B. Washington Branch
- Bess Johnson Elkhorn Branch
- Florence Branch
- Millard Branch
- Milton R. Abrahams Branch
- Saddlebrook Branch
- South Omaha Library (may be reserved)
Unless otherwise stated, study rooms are scheduled on a first come, first served basis and cannot be reserved.

Meeting rooms are available for use by community groups that meet the library’s guidelines and for purposes that are consistent with the library’s mission, goals, and objectives.
First preference will be given to groups that are using or sponsoring the use of library materials or programs. Examples of this category are: Friends of Omaha Public Library, genealogical groups or clubs, and book discussion groups.
Second preference will be given to organizations engaged in educational, cultural, intellectual or charitable activities.

Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations can be made 90 days into the future and must be made at least 72 hours in advance. Include enough time for setting up and breaking down the room.
Applications for meeting room use are not confirmed until approved. Applicants will be notified of approval for use within two business days.
