Omaha Public Library's Genealogy Room is a FamilySearch Library Affiliate. It has a large permanent collection of genealogy microfilms and microfiches from the Family History Library in Salt Lake City (the largest genealogy library in the world) available for patron use. In addition, although FamilySearch’s microfilm lending program has been terminated, the Genealogy Room at the Library Administrative Building is one of the locations where you can freely view those FamilySearch digitized records and books that are restricted to access at a FamilySearch Center or Library Affiliate.
