If you love movies, you’re going to love the latest addition to OPL’s collection: binge boxes. A binge box is a collection of four to six films gathered into one DVD set for the ultimate movie-watching experience! Selections are grouped by themes, notorious directors, or favorite starring actors, and have titles ranging from “Something Sappy” and “Classic Characters in Action,” to the “Disney Signature Collection” and “Don’t Mess With Denzel.” Binge boxes are perfect for school breaks, get-togethers with friends, date nights, family film festivals, road trips, and more!
Approximately 90 different binge boxes are now available. Simply type “binge box, opens a new window” into the online catalog’s search bar, opens a new window, and a full list of OPL’s binge box collection and availability will display. Select “Comedy Classics Starring Eddie Murphy,” “You’ll Ugly Cry,” or whatever you are in the mood to watch. There’s something for everyone! Place the binge box on hold to be sent to your favorite OPL location, opens a new window, and receive a notification when it’s ready for pick-up! Binge boxes may be checked out for 14 days.
If binging books is more your style, consider requesting a book bundle. Click on “Find Your Next Read, opens a new window” under the “Services” menu to complete a brief online form indicating your reading preferences. Library staff will use the information provided to put together an assortment of books from what’s currently available and have it sent to your preferred location.
