What if we told you there’s a party where books are the guests of honor? Omaha Public Library’s Book Bash is a twice-a-year celebration where fellow book lovers unite to indulge in the joy of reading.
The hybrid (both in-person and virtual) adult program features a panel of enthusiastic library staff called booktalkers who each highlight two to four new and exciting titles that they’ve read, enjoyed and can’t wait to recommend. Attendees will also receive a booklet to keep track of the featured books.
Omaha Public Library's Book Bash: Books, Conversations, and Community
Whether you’re a devoted reader or occasional page-turner, Book Bash is the perfect chance to connect with fellow bookworms, join in lively conversations about your latest read, and add to your “To Be Read” list. And what’s a great book event without a little extra fun? Past Book Bash gatherings have included giveaways, surprise activities, and the chance to buy from local booksellers. The event is not just about finding your next read, it’s about cultivating a community of readers.
