Memoir
Camille Hawbaker
November/December 2016
Layering the written word with delicate thread and distressed textile, Memoir weaves Camille Hawbaker’s subtle, yet powerful aesthetic with personal narrative. Omaha-based Hawbaker works in both printmaking and fibers to reveal and complicate the techniques of both in a way that creates works of transformed materials.
Memoir is organized by Omaha Public Library and curated by Alex Priest.
