Visitors gathered at W. Dale Clark Main Library to witness the unveiling of a mural by artist Eugene Kingman. The mural was painted in Omaha at the Joslyn Art Museum and hung in the lobby of The New York Times until the 1980s. In 2013, a group of area art lovers worked with the Kingman family and the Times to have the mural returned to Omaha and put on display for all to see.
