Omaha Public Library and Kent Bellows Studio & Center for Visual Arts partnered to provide three art workshops for homeless children and adults during October 2012. The workshops were mentored by professional artists. Each workshop began with warm up exercises that emphasized fine arts techniques. At the end of each session, participants discussed what their work signified for them. The work produced during the three sessions was displayed during a reception in the Michael Phipps Gallery at W. Dale Clark Main Library on December 13, 2012.
