Radio Talking Book Service

Radio Talking Book Service is a radio reading service for the blind, visually impaired and elderly in Nebraska and southwest Iowa. Over 92 volunteer voices broadcast local and regional newspapers, articles from hundreds of publications and entertainment programming. The Omaha World-Herald and the Lincoln Journal Star newspapers are read live daily.

Listeners may stream live, watch/listen to recorded newspaper readings on YouTube, or tune in using a radio receiver or TV with a Second Audio Program (SAP) option. Qualified individuals may apply to receive an SCA receiver free of charge.
