Historic Quilt Blocks

Quilt block patterns designed by McKim Studios (and, after 1938, by Omaha World-Herald staff artists) appeared in the Omaha World-Herald from the 1920's to the 1940's. They appeared in the Sunday edition, usually the Women's News section. Quilters cut patterns out and then traced them onto cloth blocks.

Omaha Public Library has kept copies of these patterns as they appeared in the paper.

Copies may be requested by contacting research@omahalibrary.org, opens a new window or calling 402-444-4800 ext. 3.  Standard copy charges may apply.
