Wondering what to read next?

Anna reads...

"I like books with complicated and frequently dark characters, nonfiction that reads like fiction, and books that help me consider our world from different perspectives."

David reads...

"I enjoy reading science fiction, fantasy, literary fiction, horror, philosophy, books about music and history. I tend to like books that are more lyrical or experimental. The weirder, the better."

Elly reads...

"I love reading works that expand my knowledge about and empathy for my peers, both at home and internationally. I love a distinctive literary voice, especially from the own voices or diverse books movements. For a break from heavier reads, I look for imaginative YA fiction or a bright graphic novel."

Erin reads...

"I look for fiction that is character-focused and sometimes a little absurd or weird. I like real-life adventure stories, humorous memoirs, female-focused narratives and books that explore our culture and social history."

Kris reads...

"I love reading teen fiction and will generally pick up almost anything and give it a try. I especially enjoy fantasy books and horror fiction and usually stay away from any book that involves aliens."

Maggie reads...

"My Netflix account has made a "Strong Female Lead" category for me for a reason. I love books that build a new world and I love exploring those worlds through engaging, realistic characters. Magical realism is the song of my soul."

Melanie reads...

"I gravitate toward fiction with lyrical prose featuring family relationships, strong female leads or coming-of-age stories. I also enjoy exploring memoirs, self-improvement nonfiction, classic works of fiction, and graphic novels."

Michelle reads...

"I am intentional about what I read and constantly gravitate toward diverse authors, seeking a window rather than a mirror. I have been known to listen to an audiobook solely for the narrator. My typical books are YA, collections of short stories, or the latest taking pop culture by storm."
