Omaha Public Library (OPL) connects our community with stories in many forms, including the visual arts. One place where those connections are made is the Michael Phipps Gallery, where artists from around the community are regularly featured in exhibitions. The Phipps Gallery is located in the southeast corner of the first floor at W. Dale Clark Main Library, 215 S. 15th St.
As the events of 2020 have changed what it looks like to visit and interact with library spaces, the planned and future exhibitions in the Phipps Gallery are also undergoing changes. We hope to be able to continue to welcome local artists to share their stories with the community, whether in person or online.
The 2021 Call for Artists is not open at this time. This space will be updated with details on the submission process at a later date. Any questions about the Phipps Gallery can be directed to the Arts & Culture Librarian.
